Daily Affirmations

Many of my favorite self-help books and gurus stress the importance of daily affirmations in achieving ones’ goals.  (Check out my Success Library if you want to read up on this practice.) I had slacked off on doing this even after experiencing almost magical results in my own life.  (Why do I do this?) Anyway, I have decided to post my top six goals/affirmations on this page each day.  It could be a little embarrassing as lots of my goals are for petty little things like $$ but if it helps anyone, it will be worth it.  Please send me a nasty reminder if you come to this page and don’t see a new posting. I have a little consistency problem.

November 18, 09

I am grateful for the financial and spiritual support flowing to me from all directions. All my bills are paid, my oil tank is full, and I have extra money to invest in my business endeavors and to help others.

February 2, 2009 - New Challenge

Due to the financial crisis, my main client is cutting back 20%. That means I’ll be getting 20% less money from him next month. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I’ve been feeling I have too many eggs in one basket anyway. So I’m a little excited about the new opportunities that will be coming my way.  Nevertheless I need to find a new profit center and a new affirmation will help.

Goals for Today:

  1. Exercise with ballet DVD
  2. Optimize top ten webpages for adsense
  3. Make contact with Thursday’s radio guests
  4. create PayPal buttons for Feng Shui Mandals
  5. Write new affirmations for direction and profit centers
  6. Get specs and deadlines for real estate ads from Eileen

Todays Affirmations:

  1. I am so grateful and excited for the extra $300 a week my new profit centers provide - or something better
  2. I am calm and focused as I’m directed to the most fun and profitable business opportunities made perfect just for me.

May 25, 2006 - Back on Track

One thing about daily goals and affirmations - sometime you slip.  The secret is to forgive yourself and move on.  I have accomplished a lot since my last goal posting. I have turned in that manuscript, started a new profit stream, clarified my goals.

Goals for today:

  1. Exercise 1/2 hour
  2. Put all available info into Peter Pan Program for Theater Shenandoah
  3. Write 3/4 script for Valley of the Stars radio show
  4. Show up at rehearsal and take photos of the cast members
  5. Make at least one call to find a guest for 2nd VS radio show

Today’s Affirmation:

“How grateful and excited I feel when I get an extra $5,000 bonus for all my work on the radio show and manuscript by Wednesday May 31, 2006 or something better”

April 20, 2006 - Writing, writing, writing

My number one goal for the next two weeks is to finish and turn in the manuscript I am currently working on. Most of my daily goals will be related to that.

  • Write six good pages (or more)
  • Continue research at Library
  • Work 1/2 hour organizing my work space
  • Read over a perfect at least one chapter
  • 1 load of laundry

Affirmation for today: “I feel proud and satisfied when I turn in my manuscript on May 1 and Mr. Haynes gives me a $5,000 bonus and high praise for a job well done or something better.”

March 28, 2006 -

  • I am so excited to work on my book each day until it is finallly completed on August 30th 2006.
  • I update my web-site daily and am earning $5,000 a month from them - yeah!
  • Mr. Haynes loves what I am doing with his project and gives me a $5,000 bonus!
  • I love to exercise and eat right and weight 168 or less by 1 January, 2007
  • I finish Dr Joe’s lampshade and he pays me extra.
  • An unexpected windfall allows me to catch up on all my bills and buy paint for the upstairs hall and stairway which I get painted by the Jack Daniel’s party, April 8th.

* Note:  Before writing out your daily goals, you should review your overall goals and make sure they fit. If they don’t fit then you shuld revise either your daily goals or rethink your long term goals.  That way you are always moving towards the future you want.

March 29, 2006 -

  • I complete the chapter on Courage today and send it in.
  • I do 1/2 hour of gardening and am proud of the results
  • I wash the dishes and clean kitchen
  • Finish Dr. Joe’s Lampshade (carry over from yesterday)
  • I work 1/2 on researching and updating the Myers-Brigg section of this web site.
  • An unexpected windfall allows me to catch up on all my bills and buy paint for the upstairs hall and stairway which I get painted by the Jack Daniel’s party, April 8th.

April 5, 2006 (Goals)

  • Finish Chapter 5 in HB
  • Have a successful meeting with BK Haynes (Successful means we are both happy with the outcome)
  • Get Paid and deposit check
  • Get furnace working
  • Upload reports to AFS
  • 1/2 hour or more work on Website

Work 1/2 hour on

www.fengshuitoolkit.com

As I learn more and more about feng shui, I realize the importance of cleaning up the house!  Right now things are not going well in several areas and my house is a pig stye .  I need to organize the house and organize my mind.
